This workshop prepares participants to take and pass Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® Project Management Professional (PMP)® Exam. This 5-day workshop is delivered by experienced PMP®-credentialed faculty using proven and highly effective commercial materials including student guidebook and online access to practice exercises and tests. Cost of materials, which are required, and examination registration (optional) with PMI® is the responsibility of the participant. This is not a workshop in which you will learn basic or introductory project/program management.
Completion of the course meets PMI’s requirement for 35 hours of project management education/training prior to applying to take the PMP exam.

Prerequisite(s)
|
This course REQUIRES materials to be purchased from a vendor before you are officially registered for the class. The cost of these materials is $177. When you first register, you will be placed on a WAITLIST. You will receive an e-mail with directions on how your organization can purchase the material to complete your reservation. You will only be officially registered for the class once DAU has verified that your materials have been ordered for you.
Before registering, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you check with your organization to verify its willingness to pay for this course.
This course is only open to Government civilian and military. The course is strictly limited to 24 participants.
Enroll at least 45 days prior to workshop start date, to facilitate ordering and receiving your materials at least 30 days prior.
1Meet PMI® requirements of:
A four-year degree and
4500 hours leading projects
-or-
A high school diploma or an associate’s degree (or global equivalent) and
7500 hours leading projects
Self-paced review with student success kit, including guidebook, flashcards, illustrated study posters, and online access to practice exercises and tests is expected. 4-5 hours per week of study preparation is recommended.
