Description |
This Online Training (OLT) course will explain policy and guidance about models, simulations, and Digital Engineering in Systems Engineering. The student will be able to describe how digital artifacts advance the state of practice of Systems Engineering (SE). This course will provide an introduction to the use of digital twins and Model Based Systems Engineering within the Department of Defense. There is increased emphasis within the department on using Model Based Systems Engineering along with Digital Twins to create value because we’re going to use less resources and less people, and we’re going to get more out of those machines in a safer way. That’s what a digital twin is going to enable.
