Description
This course provides foundational knowledge on indirect cost. Through the use of case studies, the student will engage in critical thinking, discussion, and practice exercise to refine their skills in understanding indirect cost rates.

  • Walk-ins are NOT authorized.
  • 6-hours of pre-work is required to be completed prior to classroom attendance. During a 2-week period preceding the classroom segment, students are required to participate in and complete pre-work that is integral to the final course grade. Additional information will be provided by the instructor in the welcome messaging for each course offering.
  • 2-hours of post-course work is required to be completed after classroom attendance. During a 2-week period following completion of the classroom segment, students are required to complete an assignment and turn it in for grade. Additional information will be provided by the instructor during the classroom segment for each course offering.
  • This course is recommended for all ACOs/PCAs regardless of experience as it will provide for a more consistent and accurate establishment of FICRs.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
