Description
This optional Online Training (OLT) course prepares the acquisition professional for successfully passing the advanced, program management, certification exam leading to the "Advanced Certification in Program Management". The course is a review of the seven courses required for advanced program management certification which include:
  1. PMT 0120 Program Scheduling
  2. PMT 0130 Work Breakdown Structure
  3. PMT 0170 Risk Management
  4. ACQ 315 Understanding Industry
  5. PMT 3400 Leadership and Organization
  6. PMT 3500 Business Aspects
  7. PMT 3600 The Program Management Office
The learner will complete a review of course material, knowledge checks and three exams. PMT 4910 is designed to review the learning objectives from the required certification courses. The course includes activities and questions for learners to assess their readiness for the actual certification exam. Taking the course is not a guarantee of success on the certification exam. The course does not cover each acquisition subject topic in detail. The course includes areas of study to help the student identify content areas which will require further individual investigation and study. The course is to be used as a study aid supporting the learner's self-assessment of their readiness. This course is ungraded, but upon successful completion of all course requirements, each student will earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs). There is an optional practice exam (4 attempts allowed) available upon completion of this course.

There are seven modules, each one a review of a certification course, and grouped to address three topics:
  1. Program Management Tools
  2. Industry Partners
  3. Defense Acquisition
