Description
Professionals participating in this Online Training (OLT) course will gain the knowledge to apply the policies and procedures for using the simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) covered in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13 and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) part 213. This course covers acquisitions under SAP from the planning phase, such as describing agency needs, reviewing mandatory sources, determining commerciality and competition levels; to solicitation of offers, evaluation, and award; to post-award administration and closeout.

This course is designed for all acquisition professionals. It is particularly useful for Contracting and Purchasing personnel, and for Government purchase card program participants who would like to learn more about the other simplified acquisition methods, policies, and procedures.
