Description
BLUF: This optional course is 9 days in duration and is a review of course materials and four knowledge checks.

This optional 9-day Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course prepares the acquisition professional for successfully passing the practitioner program management certification exam leading to the "Practitioner Certification in Program Management." The course is a review of the six courses required for practitioner program management certification which include:
  • ACQ 0030, Overview of Acquisition Ethics
  • ACQ 1010, Fundamentals of Systems Acquisition Management
  • ACQ 2020, Intermediate System Acquisition; Part A
  • ACQ 2030, Intermediate Systems Acquisition; Part B
  • PMT 0140, Time Management and Leadership
  • PMT 2570V, Program Management Tools Course.
PMT 4800V is a hybrid of learning methodologies including asynchronous, self-paced, virtual online training along with synchronous, instructor-led, virtual learning. The asynchronous segment of the course will require the learner to complete a review of course material and four knowledge checks. Learners will have access to several sources for help during asynchronous learning including faculty/instructor contact, other learners, and outside references. There are four units in the course; namely, Acquisitions Ethics, Team Leadership Tools, Program Management Tools, and Defense Acquisition. Additionally, instructor-led virtual class discussions will be hosted during the course. PMT 4800V will include practice, sample, and certification exam-type questions for learners to assess their readiness for the actual, certification exam. This course is ungraded, but upon successful completion of all course requirements, each student will earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs).
