Description
This is an Oakland University (OU) course provided via DAU with OU professors. This course covers how to applying Lean Tools to Supply Chain Management. This includes Inventory Management; Economic Order Quantity and other Models, Just in Time with Safety Stock, and Value Stream Mapping will be covered. Additionally, methods of Waste Identification/Elimination, Bottleneck/Theory of Constraint Analysis and other supporting tools will be covered.

  • Level II or III certification in Logistics, Engineering, OR Program Management career field is REQUIRED for all attendees.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams (Education version).

    Course design:
  • 3 Virtual instructor-led (VILT) sessions in week 1 (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, 8:00 a.m.- 5 p.m.; optional office hours avail on demand)
  • 2 VILT sessions in week 2 (Wednesday/Thursday, 8:00 a.m.- 5 p.m.; optional office hours avail on demand)
