The course covers the International Acquisition competencies using a comprehensive, integrated approach with practical exercises that address the following areas/mechanisms: cooperative programs, foreign military sales, direct commercial sales, building partnership capacity programs, technology security and foreign disclosure, and defense exportability integration. Upon completion of the course, students will possess the skills needed to effectively and efficiently plan, participate in, and manage a wide variety of international acquisition program activities that support U.S. Government and DoD political-military objectives, contribute to program affordability, and enhance coalition interoperability with allied/friendly nations.
