Description
This Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course presents DCMA contracting personnel concepts and principles for successful post award contract administration. The goal of the course is to enable students to achieve Reduction to Practice in applying general payment support, contract fees, reviewing and approving over and above work requests, reducing the loss of “at risk” canceling funds, contractor debt, disputes, voluntary refunds, and financing policies and procedures in compliance with regulations, relevant contract information, and tools and applications for the contract administration team.

  • DCMA Only: This course is restricted to DCMA students only.
Recommended Prerequisites:
  • CMC 1000, Introduction to DCMA Contract Administration
  • CMC 130, Introduction to Indirect Cost Rates
Additional Notes:
  • This course includes self/group study and instructor-led virtual training.
  • Students are required to remotely participate in virtual classes beginning at 8:00 am and lasting as late as 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday. Class normally ends around 3:30 pm on Friday. A detailed schedule will be emailed out by the instructor before class begins.
  • Pre-work and reading assignments will be required to be completed prior to each video/telephone conference session.
  • Virtual classes are conducted MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • DAU does not reimburse student phone/internet charges.
  • The CLPs assigned to this learning activity may be used to meet professional certification and/or licensure requirements (PDUs/CPE credits).
