Description
This is journeyman-level, Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course that presents concepts, facts, principles, processes, and procedures designed to aid DCMA personnel in effectively surveilling the control of NCM as part of their commitment to contract administration in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs), Defense Federal Acquisition Supplements (DFARS) and applicable agency policy and procedures.

  • CMQ 140 - Drawing Interpretation / Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Fundamentals (Quality and Engineering personnel)*
  • CMQ 142 - Basic Measuring (Quality personnel only)
  • CMQ 242 - GD&T/Measuring Techniques (Quality personnel only)
  • CMQ 210 - Calibration Systems (Quality personnel only)
  • CME 201 - Engineering Surveillance (Engineering personnel only)

*NOTE: Although these courses are stated for certain functional elements, supervisors will determine which individuals will be required to attend based on their functional specialty and information stated in the Individual Development Plan (IDP). For example, CMQ101 is listed as a prerequisite for QA and Engineers; although an Engineer may not be required to attend, the QA is required to attend based on the specific career path of the QA.
