Description
Presents the fundamentals of cost and price realism analysis, and enables students to practice those fundamentals in writing solicitation evaluation criteria, conducting proposal evaluations, and making award decisions.

  • Acquisition corps members whose mission area includes cost reimbursement contracts, fixed-price flexibly priced contracts, and/or an environment where competitive contractors may propose unrealistically low offers
  • Course developed primarily for contracting officers & price analysts, but would also be beneficial for cost estimators, project engineers, & program managers—especially if team members can attend as a team.
  • Absolutely ideal for acquisition team members who will soon be entering a competitive acquisition where cost or price realism analysis will be accomplished.
  • Prerequisite(s)
    No required pre-requisites, however, attendees should have at least 2 years of acquisition experience
