Description
This workshop is designed for acquisition personnel requiring intermediate level knowledge of program protection and system security engineering. Participants are expected to have background knowledge of the DoD’s systems engineering management processes, knowledge of the application of systems engineering to each acquisition phase, and knowledge of the acquisition system development life cycle (SDLC). This two to two and ½ day (tailorable) workshop will instruct students on PP and how to develop the elements included in a Program Protection Plan (PPP). Its 6 parts combine lectures with exercises, including a capstone exercise where the student will develop key PPP tables and sections for a hypothetical future DoD weapon system capability.
