Description

Operational contracting supports the day-to-day operations of garrisons, installations, posts, and bases enabling the procurement of essential supplies, services, commodities, construction, and architectural-engineering services. This credential was designed for Contracting Professionals who provide such support in DoD. This credential offers numerous benefits for Contracting Professionals by offering experiential learning through a course based on a real-world operational contracting procurement as well as negotiating, difficult interactions, managing Government property, and strategic sourcing.

Target Attendees

Contracting Professionals who have completed their Contracting Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification and are assigned to a unit that provides installation support.
