Description
The Simplified Acquisition Procedures (Purchasing) Credential includes the skills required for employees in the Contracting (1102) and Purchasing (1105) job series, who are responsible for acquiring supplies, services, and construction by purchase, rental, or lease using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 13, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 213, associated parts of DFARS Policies, Guidance, and Instructions (PGI), as well as other DoD policies, such as those contained in the Department of Defense Government Charge Card Guidebook for Establishing and Managing Purchase, Travel, and Fuel Card Programs.
