Description
Cost analysis is used to evaluate the reasonableness of individual cost elements when certified cost or pricing data are required. FAR Table 15-2 provides instructions to offerors preparing a contract pricing proposal when certified cost or pricing data are required. Table 15-2, Part II provides information on how to submit the breakdown for the individual cost elements. This credential will provide information for the contracting professional to use when using cost analysis to evaluate those submittals and focuses on the indirect cost elements, profit or fee, and documentation.

  • CON 7160 Facilities Capital Cost of Money (FCCOM)
  • CON 7170V Analyzing Profit or Fee
  • CON 7180 Price Negotiation Memorandum
  • Capstone Assessment

  • Predecessor courses may not be used to complete credential requirements.
  • This credential requires the completion of Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) courses: CON 7030V and CON 7170V. Priority for VILT courses goes to members of the Defense Acquisition Workforce. All others may find it difficult to complete this requirement if it has not already been completed at the time of enrollment in the credential. Please note that CON 7170V is available ONLY to Defense Acquisition Workforce members.
