Cost analysis is used to evaluate the reasonableness of individual cost elements when certified cost or pricing data are required. FAR Table 15-2 provides instructions to offerors preparing a contract pricing proposal when certified cost or pricing data are required. Table 15-2, Part II provides information on how to submit the breakdown for the individual cost elements. This credential will provide information for the contracting professional to use when using cost analysis to evaluate those submittals. CCON 001 focuses on the direct cost elements and cost modeling.
