Description
The Contracting for Research and Development Credential includes the skills required for an employee in an 1102/1109 position, who is responsible for acquiring research and development items consistent with using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 35, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) part 235, associated Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI), and non-FAR based regulations, such as DoDGARs or other non-FAR based policies, procedures, and instructions. These include general principles such as an overview of these procurement methods, contract strategies, legal considerations, and other aspects unique to acquiring the type of Research and Development not covered within the CON Certification Training Program.
