Description

This credential was developed to provide training on how to process defective pricing findings from the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audit through settlement/litigation. The credential and associated learning assets were developed because of renewed Congressional interest. At the time the credential was developed, there was over $700 million in outstanding potential defective pricing recovery. This credentials consists of four learning assets: CON 7700, Defective Pricing - an online training course; an interest calculator exercise; a capstone game; and a discussion of contractor novel negotiation strategies.

Contracting Officers, Legal counsel, and DCAA auditors involved in settling defective pricing claims under the Truth in Negotiations Act.
