| Description |
Welcome to Software Acquisition Pathway (SWP) Origins. In this Online Training (OLT) course, you will learn the background of how the SWP was derived. You will learn how the SWP implements the Agile principles in the DoD and how this approach is radically different from other pathways. Bottom line is DoD provides many flexibilities/waivers/advantages when using the SWP that should benefit the program’s ability to deliver higher value capabilities to the operational environment. In other words, this results in faster, cheaper, and more relevant regular software deployments to our warfighters.
