This VILT course is a continuation of the journey for the early career acquisition professional. The course provides insights into how to thrive in a Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA) environment and uses models, tools, and frameworks to facilitate design thinking, cross-functional awareness, trust, systems thinking, and ethical decision-making, as well as strategies for supporting the National Defense Strategy, all of which lay a strong foundation for becoming an effective acquisition Functional Lead or Supervisor.

  • There will be approximately 8 hours of post-classwork in addition to the 8 hours of pre-classwork.
  • Virtual classes are conducted via MS Teams.
  • All times are in the local time zone of the DAU region assigned to teach the offering.
  • Students are required to test connectivity with DAU IT prior to the class start date.
