Description
Digital Engineering Using SysML is an Online Training (OLT) course that introduces students to the world of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). As a new member of the Firebird Program Office, students arrive just in time for the program's new initiative, Firebird Virtual Vision, to hold a model-based System Requirements Review (SRR). This course walks students through various SysML diagrams as they are presented during the SRR. It starts with understanding stakeholder needs through SysML Use Case Diagrams, analyzes the behavior of the system using SysML Activity Diagrams, establishes system requirements using SysML Requirements Diagrams, explores the structure of the system in SysML Block Definition Diagrams, and finally, examines the inner working of the system through SysML Internal Block Diagrams.

Additional information, to include hands-on application of SysML, can be found in Workshops WSE 030 and WSE 031, SysML Immersion, Part I & II. This workshop series covers all 9 SysML Diagrams.
