Description
***This is an online Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course.***

Restrictions:
This course is restricted to DoD government civilian and military students only. DCMA students have priority in this course. Non-DCMA students may be placed in registered status if there are seats available or added to waitlist if there are no available seats.

This is journeyman-level Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) course that certain members of the DCMA workforce need in order to effectively and efficiently conduct Technical Support to Negotiations (TSN) Analysis and Reporting in accordance with DCMA policy. The multifunctional approach to TSN Analysis and Reporting outlined in DCMA-MAN 2401-01, Negotiation Intelligence Procedures, spans functional domains and requires collaboration across the agency to ensure the process is conducted efficiently and properly for DCMA to effectively perform the tasks and subtasks associated with it. CMI 130, Integrated Cost Proposal Evaluation , which supports CMI 2300V, lays the foundation for the DCMA Cost and Price Analysts and Engineers to collaboratively execute Negotiation Intelligence, specifically the requirements of TSN. This course will use a constructivist learning approach with a focus on problem-solving and inquiry-based learning activities requiring students to formulate and test ideas, draw conclusions and inferences, and pool and convey knowledge in a collaborative learning environment addressing the desire of adult students to learn through discovery and guidance. Students should be aware that CMI 2300V was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR, DFARs or common principles which apply across all services.
