Description
This journeyman level course incorporates the requirements of the FAR, DFARS, DoDIG and DCMA policy on implementing the Contract Audit Follow-Up (CAFU) process. Students learn about audit types and resolving and dispositioning of audit findings; they will learn how to use prescribed FAR, DoD, and DCMA policy documents to understand how to address audit findings and recommendations in audit reports and then document the results. Students will improve their understanding of DCMA policy, best practices, completion of required audit elements, and how what they do impacts the DCMA mission. Students should be aware that CMC 210 was developed for DCMA and uses DCMA document templates. Class instruction concentrates upon FAR and DFARS principles which apply across all services.
