Description
Presents the fundamentals of cost and price realism analysis and enables students to practice those fundamentals in writing solicitation evaluation criteria, conducting proposal evaluations, and making award decisions.

Target Attendees
  • Acquisition corps members whose mission area includes cost reimbursement contracts, fixed-price flexibly priced contracts, and/or an environment where competitive contractors may propose unrealistically low offers
  • Course developed primarily for contracting officers & price analysts, but would also be beneficial for cost estimators, project engineers, & program managers—especially if team members can attend as a team.
  • Absolutely ideal for acquisition team members who will soon be entering a competitive acquisition where cost or price realism analysis will be accomplished.
Prerequisite(s)
No required pre-requisites, however, attendees should have at least 2 years of acquisition experience
